Counselling isn't one-size-fits-all. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to what you need.
What sessions feel like.
Sessions with me feel like a real conversation — not a clinical interview. You won't be lying on a couch while I take notes from across the room.
Instead, picture two people sitting together in a calm, private space. I'll ask questions, listen carefully, and gently help you explore what's coming up. Sometimes that means sitting with uncomfortable feelings. Sometimes it means finding clarity you didn't expect.
There's no script. We go where you need to go.
No surprises.
Your first session is about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what brought you here, what's going on in your life, and what you're hoping to get from counselling.
You don't need to have it all figured out. You don't need to prepare anything. Just come as you are.
By the end of our first meeting, you'll have a sense of whether this feels right — and there's absolutely no pressure to continue if it doesn't.
Warm and direct.
I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on what you need. I'm not rigid about methodology — I care about what works for you.
My style is warm but honest. I'll gently challenge you when it serves your growth, and I'll hold space when you need to process. I believe in meeting you where you are.
We do this together.
This isn't something I do to you. It's something we do together. You're the expert on your own life — I'm here to help you access that expertise.
I'll check in regularly to make sure we're on the right track. If something isn't working, I want to know. Your comfort and trust matter above everything.
